I was on my way to have lunch. I was walking down the road, keeping pretty much to the side. The way these vehicles zoom past you, you never know if they will or will not take a piece of you along with them. There was a crossroad ahead of me. Just a few metres ahead of me, a young, 20 something 'yo' dude was about to embark on a very important journey. If you wonder how i knew that his journey was important, well I didn't know for sure. But the way he zoomed off on his bike told me that something really troublesome was in his mind or in his pants. Even as I was watching, our man, he was on a Suzuki Shogun, zips from the 1st gear to 3rd in about 3 seconds flat. And it wasnt just the speed. There was an auto coming from the opposite direction straight towards him! And what does Biaggi here do? He makes straight for the auto, and just as you think that the auto's windshield will make way for his head, he swerves to the right, knees almost touching the road. the auto driver passes by in relief. But Biaggi isnt done yet. There was nothing before him now. But he swerves to the left and to the right, very much imitating the way we play on video games.
And well, speed comes before a fall.
The next thing I saw was very musical. His wheels started dancing underneath him, the rear wheel went high in the air. Ever seen horses and bulls trying to throw their riders off? Well, Biaggi's Shogun was one mad Japanese bull.
It didnt take his bike very long. One second his little butt was off the seat. The next second it was on the road. His triumphant bike lay on its side, gloating over its victory.
The matador was soon pulled to his feet. His bike was picked up too. The man gets on his bike again, kicks the bike back to life, and roars off again! Some people never learn do they??
Who said that accidents are always bad? At times like this, they are damn funny!
